Aztec Contractors, Inc., teamed up with Volter Electrical Construction Corporation on this Paving IDIQ project for the Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC). The project included restoration, renovation, and modernization of roads, electrical systems, storm drain systems, and fencing at Fort Bliss, TX.
The scope of work included earthwork, hauling and disposing of debris, renovations, repairs, clearing and grubbing, excavation, filling materials, base course materials, finish grading, concrete paving, concrete saw cutting, Portland cement concrete pavement, reinforcing steel, curbs, and gutter. Installation of HMAC, asphalt, asphalt patching, pavement slurry sealer, seal coating, storm drain systems to include metal pipes, RCP pipe, concrete box culverts, rip-rap, gabion boxes, backfill, topographic surveying, testing, ADA ramps, solar-powered pedestrian signs, reflectorized thermoplastic single solid traffic stripping, concrete wheel stops, chain link, vehicle guard rails, traffic control systems, electrical systems including, relocating light poles, solar roadway lighting, circuit breakers, metal & wood poles, crimp 2-way connectors, hole drilling, grounding bushing, light aluminum poles, area lighting fixture poles, floodlighting poles.
